Problems

Only area to watch out for is centering the cross bar perfectly between the end brackets. The center cross bar is designed for pretensioning, via threaded end pieces. Make sure the crossbar is centered relatively to the end pieces.

Tips

Pay attention to how the bracket is designed, and how there is a small hole between the rear strut tower top and the rear deck sheetmetal. Other than that, it is relatively easy.

Thoughts

Visual impact is nil, since the rear STB runs close to the bottom of the rear top deck and is hidden from view by the backseat and from the trunk. Dynamic impact wise, I would say that the rear STB made much more improvement to the rigidity of the chassi than the front. With the rear STB properly pre-loaded, it is quite evident that the suspension is doing more work than before. Now, instead of the chassis soaking up the bumps along with the suspension, the bumps are now solely absorbed by the suspension.

Other

Beefy 1" diameter cross bar. Very nice.
