Problems

No, it was simple(you need a spring compressor). An installation manual comes with the shocks and it is quite comprehensive. It took about a hour for each side using the basic tools(cheap spring comp. from jc whit. and a socket set).

Thoughts

These are considered stock replacement shocks. After 110K these are a very nice improvement. Now with RSR down springs this is car is transformed into a cornering machine!

Other

KYB offers high performance shocks but I do not know how much they go for.
