Problems

This deck requires Nissan's original mounting brackets. If you've got an aftermarket bracket (for example, a Pioneer bracket), you'll need to get the stock mounting kit.

Thoughts

The deck is quite a bargain. I had trouble getting used to the huge sound separation it gives (much more than my old Pioneer unit). 40 watts x 4 is enough to power the stock speakers.

A really nice feature is the 'D-BASS' selector. It gives you 4 preset bass controls from a single switch over and above normal bass adjustments.

Rotary volume control and a nice track skip/search button make this an easy unit to use. There are lots of weird little extras, such as the 'animated' display and dimming capabilities.

Other

The lack of a 'Pause' button is annoying. My Pioneer had it, and now I really miss it.

The detachable face mechanism is also a little strange - it takes some getting used to...
