Problems

The brace on the throttle is awkward to loosen/tighten b/c of location.

Tips

Before installing any Injen Intake Pipe, I recommend cleaning the inside of the pipe of grease and metal shavings with either brake cleaner or throttle plate cleaner. I had to remove my pipe because of some erratic cold weather idle and stalling problems. After the removal I noticed what looked like grease and metal shavings on the inside of the pipe (not good). I am not sure whether the pipe came that way or whether it was caused by some kind of intake backfire due to my car problem. It is worth checking the cleanliness of the inside of the pipe before intallation. I wish I did.

Thoughts

Could not tell any increase in performance or sound. But I already had a JWT Popcharger on.

Other

Beware of possible cold idle problems due to this installation for those who drive in cold weather (30 degrees and below).

Check the cleanliness of the inside of the pipe before instalation!
