Problems

NONE, it took me about 45 minutes from start to finish.

Tips

2 of the hoses were too long so I had to trim about 2 inches from each. Not a real problem though. The fact that they are longer allows for some mistakes and allows you to trim them to you liking. I'd cut about 1/2" at a time until you find a length you like. Also, jacking up the car will allow you better access to the compartment where the filter goes. Also, it is a little tight around the throttle body and upper radiator hose, just use a long screwdriver.

Thoughts

LOOKS: I got the polished one because I didn't want to deal with paint coming off. The polished finish is great and the intake looks very nice when on the car. I installed the intake at a local SE-R Club meet and I got nothing but compliments. It fits perfectly so there was no hammering, bending, etc. necessary. The red silicone hoses really dress up the engine compartment nicely. I'm extremely satisfied with the fit and finish.

PERFORMANCE: Give the car a nice throaty growl under hard acceleration. I didn't feel a real power spike, the car just feels stronger throughout the engine range. It feels like I'm one gear lower than I actually am (4th feels like 3rd usesd to). This is the only mod I have on my car at this time, so I would only assume that the gains would be even higher if I had headers and an exhaust.

Other

Injen has been very responsive to my questions and has been a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend them. Their workmanship is also top notch. GO GET THIS INTAKE!!!
