Problems
It is tricky to get 2.5" piping under our car (S13).
Tips
Just take it to the local muffler shop and have them bend you a pipe and slap it on.
Thoughts
Like most high flow mufflers it is a give and take situation. I used to have the HKS "sport" cat back and I can tell a definate low end power loss going with the Magnaflow. Then on the other hand the high end is much, much better. Now when I am cruising down the highway and I drop it into fourth and nail it it really takes off! As far as sound that bad boy is loud! I like it though, it is not that annoying buzzing loud like the Hondas make but a nice deep mean loud. For a tip I just went with the Banzai 2.5" in 4.5" out. It looks real nice.
Other
To make the whole exhaust look shiny like the stainless steel tip I had to get creative. I removed the whole exhaust then put about six coats of high temp silver paint on it. At that point it looks just like my HKS aluminized piping. That was not good enough, I wanted it to be shiny like the tip. I went down to the local hardware store and found "chrome" paint it is made to fix hillbilly truck bumpers and stuff. Well, needless to say about three coats of that later it matched the tip perfectly! Wa-la, stainless steel cat back exhaust for $150 bucks!
