Problems
Throwout bearing & carrier are a little tricky to get back in, but nothing to worry about, little patience goes a long way.
Tips
Easiest way to do it is on a lift. Makes the job go much quicker. Make sure you have the clutch disk and pilot bearing aligned, if not you'll be screwin with the trans for hours to get it back in. otherwise, the car's rear wheel drive, piece of cake man!
Thoughts
Allow a little time to break in, 500 miles really isn't necessary. I gave it about 40 miles of easy driving and started hammering it. Definite increase in grip, not a neck snapping engagement, not sure what happened to Kevin's rear gears but there's no way this clutch did it in. Pedal pressure is actully lighter than stock.
Other
BE ADVISED, this is a solid hub clutch, even though its sold by RAM, the clutch disk is made by ACT, its a 6 puck disk with Carbon Kevlar material, this may cause some chatter, hardly noticable. BUT, there is definitely more vibration from the lack of hub springs. if you drive like a madman 24/7, your gonna wear down your drive line. drive it normally, and its smooth drivin. Don't get me wring, i smash it whenever i can , and i have had no problems. Have fun. email me if you have any questions.
