Problems

Not really. Just to be safe, double check wiring guide to FSM (factory service manual).

Tips

Be patient, and use a better wire splicer than the ones supplied. For the best installation, solder the wires together.

Thoughts

The Multichecker is kinda like a toy. It provides readout of what the ECU sees. I personally find the audio shift alarm to be immense benefit when I'm driving at full speed on a race course. I don't have to pay attention to the redline. I just listen for the beeps.

Other

The Techtom ECU reader is a much better device, since it plugs into the Nissan disgnostic port without splicing. It can provide readout on two function at a time. Only drawback is the price of ~$350. Probably worth it.
