Problems
The spoiler comes unpainted (black plactic) so I had it painted to match my car at a local shop before installing it. Installation itself is easy since the spoiler is a factory part and simply bolts on with 11 bolts and two existing screws.
Tips
Use nuts with nylon locking rings so that they don't vibrate loose while you're driving down the street.
Thoughts
Dramatic improvement in looks from the front and side. The car looks lower, wider, and meaner. I didn't expect the spoiler to make this big a difference, but it changed the whole look of the car. Very cool.
Other
This spoiler is a Nissan part which was left off of the '97 and '98 240SX exported to the U.S. It is supposed to be on the car, but watch those curbs once you've installed it.
Dealers in this area (Nor Cal) were asking $331 for the spoiler. Courtesy gave me a much better price, but I haven't been impressed with their customer service. It took over a month to get the spoiler here, and I still don't have the nuts which they were supposed to send to me or a copy of the invoice showing what they billed to my credit card. I hope my experience is the exception rather than the rule - I've heard good things about them otherwise.
