I own a 93 240SX SE and have been looking for springs to drop it. So far, all I have
found is the Eibach Pro Kit which drops the car only an inch. Since the front bumper
is lower than the rest of the car, an inch drop should look OK from the front but I'm not
sure if the back will look low. Any suggestions? Oh yeah, I added an Ultraflow
muffler and was wondering if anyone knows how much horsepower the car makes?
Eibach makes a Pro-Kit (1" drop) and a Sportline (1.9" drop) for the 90-94
240SX. The Pro-Kit looks great (I have them on my '92 SE), but doesn't really look
dropped. Some people even complain that the Sportline's aren't enough. It really depends
on what you want in a spring. If you're only looking for lowering ability, pick up the
Sportlines, and cut a coil or two out of them. Note that I don't recommend this, and your
handling will suck. If you want to go lower, and still maintain a decent ride, go with the
Sportlines. If you want it a little lower, and kick ass performance, get the Pro-Kits. No
matter how you go on springs, make sure you use good, performance struts with them.
